Kohli Shaveta Architect

You can find us over at 14-A, Cheema Nagar Ext., which is in the Cap. Dhami Nagar area, right by the P.O. Model Town. It’s a decent neighborhood and our office fits right in with the surrounding buildings. Kohli Shaveta Architect is a place where we do a lot of sketching and planning. The office isn't very formal at all. You’ll see trace paper and blueprints spread out over most of the flat surfaces. We have some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them and a few plants that we sometimes forget to water. It’s a real working office, not some staged photo for a magazine. We spend our mornings looking over site plans and our afternoons mostly dealing with the small details that come with any building project. The air in the office is usually filled with the sound of someone clicking a mouse or scratching out a quick note on a pad. Being near Model Town is convenient, and we’ve become very familiar with the rhythms of the street outside our windows. We aren't a massive firm with a lot of layers. If you call, you usually get one of us directly on the line. We just enjoy the process of putting things together on paper and seeing how they might eventually turn into real structures. It’s slow work sometimes, but we don’t mind the pace one bit. We just focus on the task at hand and keep things moving through the week.
