Kohinoor Tyres

We sit right on Kapurthala Road in Basti Bawa Khel. It is usually pretty busy around here. People come in mostly because they need a tire fixed or maybe a new one if the old one is too worn out. We have stayed in this same spot for quite a few years now. It gets real dusty outside with the trucks passing by, but that is just how the road is. My brother and I usually handle the work ourselves. Sometimes the neighbors drop by just to talk while we are working on a car or a motorbike. We have a lot of different sizes of tires piled up in the back room. If someone needs something specific, we usually have to move a few things around to find it. The floor is stained with oil and grease, but you cannot really help that when you are dealing with wheels all day. It is not a fancy place, just a simple shop with a couple of jacks and some basic tools. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down mostly. Sometimes we stay later if someone is stuck on the side of the road nearby and needs help. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. It is just honest work. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. It is a bit noisy with the traffic right outside, but we are used to it.
