King Punjab

You can find King Punjab over on the first floor of the Sahota Complex on Garha Road. It’s right across from Hotel Residency, so we usually just tell people to look for the hotel if they get lost trying to find us. The building is usually pretty busy with people going in and out of the different offices. I’ve been working here for a while and you get used to the noise from the road. We spend a lot of time just sitting at our desks and dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s not a very big office, but we have enough chairs for people to sit down while they wait. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird clicking sound but we just ignore it. We usually grab lunch from one of the stalls nearby because the food is better there than anything we’d bring from home. My desk is covered in sticky notes because I can never remember my passwords or phone numbers otherwise. We don't really do the whole corporate thing here. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun starts to go down. Jalandhar is a fast place but inside the Sahota Complex, things feel a little bit slower. It’s a decent place to work and the neighbors in the other offices are mostly friendly enough. We just keep things moving along one day at a time.
