Despite the name of the street, it can get quite warm here during the summer months. Being in Waryam Nagar means we are in a more residential-feeling part of town compared to the city center, but it still gets its fair share of traffic. The two units, 63 and 64, are right next to each other, so we are spread across both spaces. It’s a bit of a walk between the different sections if you are moving files or equipment. The building has a plain exterior, and we have a small sign out front so people don't miss us when they are driving by. Inside, it feels like a typical medical institution. There are benches for people to sit on, and the walls are mostly bare except for some local notices. We have a mix of old and new furniture that we’ve gathered over the years. The staff usually brings lunch from home, so you might smell someone's home cooking in the break room around one o'clock. It’s a pretty straightforward place to work. We don't have any fancy gardens or anything, just the sidewalk and the road outside. Most people who come to see us are locals from Jalandhar or the nearby villages. We just keep the doors open and get through the appointments one by one until the day is finally over.
