Kaur Harsimran Architect

I run this little architecture office out of my place in Mahinder Singh Colony. It’s right here in Village-Birring, so most people around here know where to find me. I’ve been working on drawings and house plans for a while now. It’s not a big fancy studio with glass walls or anything like that. Just a desk, my computer, and a lot of rolled-up papers everywhere. Sometimes the neighbors drop by just to ask a quick question about a wall they want to move or how to get more light into a back room. I spend a lot of my day looking at site measurements and making sure the lines on the screen actually make sense for a real building. Village life is quiet mostly, which helps when I need to concentrate on the technical details. I don’t have a big team helping me, so if you call, you're just talking to me. It gets busy during the construction season when everyone wants their foundations poured before the rain starts. I try to keep things simple and clear. There’s no point in making a design too complicated if it’s going to be a headache to build. I just like seeing a project go from a messy sketch to a house where someone actually lives. It's hard work sometimes, especially when the paperwork gets stuck, but it's what I do. Being based at H.No.04 makes it easy for local folks to stop in.
