Kamal Hospital

Kamal Hospital sits right at Doaba Chowk. If you know the area, you know how busy the chowk can get with cars, rickshaws, and people crossing all the time. It is a loud spot, but inside the hospital, it’s a bit more controlled. We have been here for a good while, and the building is a familiar sight for anyone living around here. We have several floors and the stairs are always busy with staff going up and down. We have a lot of equipment that needs constant looking after. It’s a big responsibility running a place like this. We have a canteen that smells like tea and fried snacks in the afternoon. The waiting rooms are usually full of people sitting and talking quietly. We try to keep the queues moving, but sometimes there is a wait. That is just how it is in a busy hospital. We have doctors and nurses who have been with us for years, and we all know how the place runs. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the work inside. We deal with everything from small scrapes to much bigger problems. It’s a 24-hour job, really. Even late at night, you can see the lights on at Doaba Chowk. We are just here to do our part for the community. It is a long day for everyone involved.
