Kalsi Sports Jalandhar

Jalandhar is known for its sports stuff, and we are right in the middle of it over at No. 9/9 Bhargawa Nagar on Model House Road. Our place is more of a workshop and shop combined into one, so you’ll see gear everywhere you look. There is usually the smell of leather or the sound of something being stitched together coming from the back rooms. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a practical space where we get things done. People come to us when they need equipment that actually holds up during a game. We spend a lot of our time checking the stitching on balls or making sure the wood for the bats is just right. It’s a bit messy with scraps of material on the floor, but that’s how a real sports business looks. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been working with their hands for years. We aren't trying to be some global brand with commercials; we just want to make sure the kid down the street has a decent ball to play with. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside on Model House Road. We just keep at it, making and selling what we know best at Kalsi Sports. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough.
