Om Garments

Our shop, Om Garments, is tucked into Jyoti Market, not far from the Jyoti Mall. It is a busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We have stacks of clothes piled up on the counters and hanging from the walls. Most of the time, we are busy folding things back up after customers have looked through them or moving boxes around to find a specific size. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day, but that is just how retail is. The market can be loud with people bargaining and music playing from nearby stalls, so we usually have the radio on to keep our own rhythm going. We do not have any big fancy displays or professional lighting. It is just the clothes on the racks and us helping people find what they need. Sometimes we get a delivery of new stock and the whole floor gets covered in plastic wrap and cardboard until we can get it all put away. We have been in Jyoti Market for a while, and we like the crowd that comes through. It is a mix of everyone, really. We just try to keep things organized enough so people can find a decent shirt or a pair of pants without too much trouble. It is a straightforward business, nothing more and nothing less than a clothing shop in a busy market.
