The office is at 418 Golden Avenue, Phase II. It is a quiet residential area which makes it a good place to concentrate on architectural drawings. Most of the people around here know us as the local architect's office. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a couple of drafting tables and a computer that stays on most of the day. Working in Phase II of Golden Avenue is nice because it isn't as loud as the main road. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who want to add a room to their house or start a new building from scratch. It’s a lot of paperwork and dealing with local regulations, which isn't always fun but it has to be done. We keep things pretty simple here. There’s usually a pot of tea on the go and some old drawings rolled up in the corner. We don't have a fancy sign or a big glass front. It’s more like a home office that grew a bit too big for the living room. People stop by to drop off documents or just to ask a quick question about a wall or a roof. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while, and we like the slow pace of work. We just focus on the lines on the paper and making sure everything adds up. It’s an honest way to spend the day.
