Idearch Architect

Idearch Architect is located right within the Lovely Professional University campus in Jalandhar. It’s an interesting place to work because there are always students walking around and a lot of energy in the air. We have our space here where we focus on architectural designs. It’s not like a typical office in a city center. We get to see the academic side of things while doing our actual projects. Jalandhar weather can be quite extreme, really cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, but we stay busy inside with our computers and drafting boards. We started this because we like how spaces are used. We don't spend much time on self-promotion. Most of our work comes from being part of this community. We talk to people about their ideas for rooms or buildings and try to put them on paper. It’s a lot of sitting and thinking, then drawing, then changing the drawing again. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon. If a wall needs to be somewhere, we put it there. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us trying to make decent designs. Sometimes we grab lunch at the campus canteen and talk about our projects. It’s a simple, practical way to spend the day. We just focus on the drawings and hope people like what we come up with.
