We’ve been here on G.T Road in Goraya for quite some time now. If you drive past, you can’t really miss the place. It’s a busy stretch of road and we’re right in the middle of it. Most of us here have grown up around these machines. It gets loud during the day with all the metal work going on. We make auto parts, mostly focusing on heavy stuff that goes into trucks and tractors. It’s greasy work, and our hands are usually covered in oil by noon. There’s a lot of heat from the furnaces and the forging hammers make the ground shake a bit when they are running full tilt. We just come in, do the shifts, and make sure the parts are shaped right before they head out. Sometimes the tea break is the only quiet time we get. The guys on the shop floor have been doing this for twenty or thirty years, so they know exactly how the metal should look. We don't spend much time in fancy offices. Most of the day is spent checking dimensions and moving heavy crates around the yard. The weather gets pretty hot in the summer, which makes the forge even tougher to work around, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve seen the town change around us while we stay busy with the same old machines. It is just a regular place where people work hard to get things done.
