Guru Amrit Clinic

Our clinic is at number 330 in Choti Baradari. It is in the Garha area of Jalandhar. We are very close to the Shri Guru Ravidas Gurudwara Saheb Ji. You can usually hear the prayers and the music from the Gurudwara if the windows are open. It gives the place a calm feeling, even when we are busy. The clinic is not very big, just a few rooms where we see the local residents. Plenty of regulars come by just to chat sometimes while they wait. The walls are painted a light color, but they could probably use a fresh coat soon. A wooden desk sits in the corner where we keep all the patient files. Computers are okay, but we still like having things on paper where we can find them quickly. The street outside is narrow, so parking a car can be a real headache. Most people just walk or take a cycle rickshaw. We know most of the families around Garha by name since they have been coming to us for years. It is a community thing. My cousin helps out with the cleaning and making sure the medicine cabinet is stocked up. We don't have any big signs, just the one by the door that tells people we are open. It is a quiet life here, mostly focused on the neighborhood and the people living nearby. We try to stay organized but things get messy.
