Ghai Hospital - Neuro Surgery, Trauma & Kidney Care Centre

Our hospital is tucked into Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar here in Jalandhar. Being near Ravi Dass Chowk means there is always traffic and noise outside, but inside we are focused on the heavy stuff like neurosurgery and kidney care. It is a serious place, to be honest. We handle trauma cases too, so things can get quite hectic at odd hours of the night. The building at 661, A & B is home to a lot of different departments. We have people coming in from all over the city and the surrounding villages. Some are here for dialysis, others are worried about head injuries. It’s a lot of responsibility. We don't have time for fancy decorations or slick talk. We just try to keep the machines running and the floors clean. The staff has been around for a long time. We know the neighbors and the local shops. It’s a community feel even though the work is tough. Sometimes the waiting area gets crowded, especially on Mondays. We try to manage the flow, but it's a hospital, so things happen. You’ll find us right in the middle of the bustle. We have seen families go through hard times and good times here. It is just the way the world works. We keep our heads down and do the surgery or the care that’s needed. It's about getting people back home to their families. We just stay busy with the work at hand. That’s how it goes.
