Fine Products (India)

Fine Products (India) is located at Plot No. 11 in Uttam Nagar, right on the Model House Road in Basti Sheikh. This part of the city is quite old and the streets are often crowded with rickshaws and delivery bikes. Our building isn't very new, and it has that lived-in feel of a place that’s seen a lot of work over the years. We have a workspace that is mostly filled with benches and hand tools, and there is always a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep the mood light. Most of our work involves a lot of manual assembly and checking things by hand. We don’t have a fancy showroom, so if you come to visit, you’re basically walking right into where the work is happening. The staff consists of a few local people who have lived in Basti Sheikh their whole lives. We have a lot of conversations about the local news while we work. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we do keep an eye on the clock to make sure things get finished. The office area is just a desk with a computer that’s a few years old and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of everything. We don’t use much big machinery, so it’s quieter here than in some of the bigger plants. It’s a simple operation, and we like keeping it that way because it is easier to manage.
