You can find Fibretech Leathers (P) Ltd. at number 150 in the Leather Complex on Kapurthala Road. Being in a dedicated complex means we are surrounded by people doing similar things. It’s a very utilitarian place. We have a big shed where most of the work happens. It gets quite cold in the winters and very hot in the summers, but that’s just how these buildings are built. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our work clothes moving stuff around. We focus on the technical side of leather. It involves a lot of checking the texture and the strength of the material. There is always a layer of dust on the windows and the sound of heavy machinery in the background. It’s a busy life. We drink tea from the local stall and talk about the day's work during our breaks. We don't really do any fancy branding. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with people who know we get the job done. It’s not a glamorous lifestyle, but there is a certain satisfaction in finishing a big batch of leather and seeing it loaded onto a truck. We just keep our heads down and stay on top of the orders. It’s a decent place to work if you like seeing how things are actually made. We've been at this spot for years.
