We sit here at Shop No. 920 right on Bus Stand Road. It gets pretty loud outside with the buses constantly pulling in and out of the GT Road stand. If you know the Wimpy nearby, you know exactly where we are located. It’s just a small place where we handle travel stuff. Usually, the day starts with opening the shutters and checking the printer because it jams sometimes. We’ve been in Jalandhar City for a good while now. People walk in from the street asking about bus times or tickets to different places. It’s not a fancy office with big leather chairs. We have some wooden desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. When the tea man comes around, that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We spend a lot of time looking at maps or typing names into the system. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to wait it out. Jalandhar - 144001 is a busy area to work in. There is always someone shouting outside or a horn honking. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just see the sign while they are heading to the bus stand and pop their head in. It gets dusty because of the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass. It is just regular work for us, helping folks get from one place to another without making it too complicated.
