Dynamic Engg. Works

Our workshop is located in Raja Garden Basti Sheikh, right opposite the big water tank. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. We’ve been doing engineering work and repairs in this spot for a good while. The shop is usually full of metal scraps, machines, and the smell of grease, which is exactly how an engineering place should be. We take on all kinds of mechanical jobs that come our way from locals and small businesses. Some days it’s fixing a broken part, other days it’s fabricating something new from a rough sketch. It gets quite loud with the machines running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the clanking. We aren’t really into the whole corporate office vibe; we prefer being on the floor getting our hands dirty. The water tank helps people find us if they get lost in the lanes of Basti Sheikh. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the lathes and welding sets. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the water tank is still there and so are we. We don't spend much time on paperwork because there’s always something that needs fixing or making right now. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going every day.
