We are located at unit 170 in the Leather Complex over in Basti Peer Dad. If you know Jalandhar at all, you know this entire area is dedicated to the leather industry. It is a gritty part of town, always filled with trucks and the heavy smell of tanning. We have been part of this complex for a very long time. Our building is not anything special to look at, just a functional space for our work. We handle international trade, so we are often dealing with people in different time zones. This means someone is usually here late at night or very early in the morning to answer the phone. The office is small and usually stuffed with samples of different types of leather hides. It is a tough industry to be in these days. Prices for raw materials change constantly, and the regulations are always shifting around. We just try our best to stay on top of it all. Most of us working here grew up around the leather trade. It is just what people do in this neighborhood. We do not have any corporate retreats or fancy office perks. We just come in and do the work. On Saturdays, we usually try to wrap up a bit early if the orders are all cleared. It is a practical place. We do not spend money on fancy furniture when it is not needed.
