We are tucked away behind Rabindra Day Boarding School at number 13 in New Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar. It’s a quiet spot, which is good for when we need to focus on drawing. Manjit Singh has been running things here for quite a while. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they live nearby. The office is basically just a room full of drafting tables and computers. We spend our days looking at layouts and trying to make things fit where they should. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We don't try to be something we're not. We are just local architects who understand how buildings work in this part of town. Sometimes clients come in with ideas that are a bit wild, and we have to talk them through the reality of the situation. It’s a lot of back and forth. We don't mind the long hours when a project is moving fast. The neighborhood is nice and we've gotten to know the people around here. We just keep our heads down and work. If you're looking for someone who won't charge you for fancy office decorations, you might like it here. We just focus on the plans. It gets a bit cold in the winter, but we have enough tea to keep us going.
