Our place is located at 11 New Punjabi Bagh, right off the main Pathankot Road in Jalandhar. It is a very busy stretch of road with trucks and cars passing by at all hours of the day. The office is set back a bit from the pavement, so the noise is not too bad once you are inside the door. We put up a small sign outside so people do not miss the turn into the driveway. It is a very straightforward setup inside. We have a few desks, some chairs for when people visit, and a water cooler over in the corner. Punjab weather can be extreme, so we are always either turning up the heater or fixing the fans. The building is a simple concrete structure that has been here for years. We have done a little work on the inside to make it comfortable, but it remains very basic and functional. We spend most of our time answering calls and dealing with orders. Sometimes the internet connection gets slow, which is frustrating, but we manage to get the work done anyway. There are a couple of local dhabas nearby where we go to grab lunch. The food is always hot and it is a nice break from sitting at the desks. We do not have a big staff or a fancy website. It is more of a family-run vibe where everyone chips in.
