Dhartiputra Ayurveda

Our shop Dhartiputra Ayurveda is at 1116/6 in Gali Number 6. We are in Kabir Nagar and you can find us pretty easily because we are near Dav College. We deal with herbal things and traditional items that people have used for years. It’s a quiet shop for the most part. People come in looking for specific roots, powders, or oils. We’ve lived in Kabir Nagar a long time so we know the neighbors well. The college students sometimes walk past on their way to class but mostly it’s older folks who come inside. We have jars and packets everywhere. It smells like herbs in here all the time which is something we really like. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just put a sign out front so people know we are here. It is a small family business. We spend time cleaning the shelves and talking to people about what they are looking for. There is no corporate polish or fancy decor here. The floor is a bit old and the shelves are plain wooden ones. It feels like home to us. We stay open until late evening most days to catch people after work. Gali Number 6 is a narrow street but it stays busy. We are just trying to keep the traditions going in our own small way. It is honest work.
