Our place is located at 89 R in Model Town. It’s a well-known area and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The building is a regular house that we’ve converted into our workspace, so it doesn’t feel like a cold, empty office. We have a few rooms filled with desks and bookshelves, and it usually smells a bit like coffee in the mornings. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small group of advisors who know each other well. We don't really bother with expensive furniture or high-end decor. The walls have some old calendars and notes pinned to them, and the floors have seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We spend our days mostly answering calls and helping people figure out their business questions. It’s not flashy work, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, though you can hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons. We like the local vibe of Model Town and the fact that we can just walk down the street for a snack or to run an errand. There’s no corporate hierarchy here; we all just pitch in and do what’s needed. We try to be honest and direct with everyone who comes through our door. It’s a plain, hardworking environment and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep things simple and get through the day's tasks.
