Darshan Singh & Co

Our place, Darshan Singh & Co, is located right on G.T. Road in Jalandhar district. It’s a very busy road, so there’s always trucks and cars zooming past our front door. The noise is something you just get used to after a week or so. We’ve been here for years, and the building has seen better days, but it serves us well. We do a lot of our work in the back area where it’s a bit quieter. It’s not a polished environment. There are stacks of materials in the corners and the floors have marks from years of heavy use. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. Usually, if someone walks in, they just find one of us working and we talk right there. We take pride in just getting things done without a lot of talking. Jalandhar is a hardworking city, and we try to fit into that spirit. Sometimes the winters get really cold, so we bundle up and keep the heaters going while we work. In the summer, it's the opposite, and we just keep the doors open for a breeze. We aren't a big corporation with many branches. It’s just this one spot on the highway where we do our business every day. People around here know us, and that’s usually enough to keep us busy and going for many more years to come.
