City Watch Mobile House-Tata Docomo

I have this little shop called City Watch Mobile House-Tata Docomo on Kapurthala Road. It’s right in the Basti Bawa Khel area of Jalandhar. I’ve been here for quite some time now, just doing my daily work. We do a lot of different things, like fixing watches that have stopped or helping people with their mobile phones. Since we are a Tata Docomo spot, a lot of folks come in for recharges or to ask about their phone plans. It gets pretty busy around here because Kapurthala Road is always full of traffic and people moving about. The shop isn't very large, just enough room for my counter and some shelves with various parts. I have tools scattered around most of the time because there’s always something to tinker with. I grew up in Jalandhar, so I know a lot of the people who walk by every day. It’s not a corporate office or anything fancy, just a local repair place where I try to be useful. Sometimes the Punjab heat makes the day long, but I enjoy the work. I like the challenge of opening up a watch and seeing all the tiny gears inside. If a customer has a broken screen, I see what I can do to get it working again. It’s just me and the occasional help from a friend. We keep things simple and honest here. It’s my way of making a living in this busy city.
