Kingdom Blocks

Our yard is out in Village Khambra, right on Nakodar Road in Chitti. Kingdom Blocks is where we make concrete blocks and paving tiles every day. It is a very physical job and we spend most of our time out in the yard. It is not a clean or quiet place. There is always the sound of machines and trucks coming and going. We have a small office on the site, but it is mostly just for keeping the books and taking orders. We are usually covered in a bit of dust or grit from the concrete, but that is just part of the work. We have been in Chitti for quite a while now and people around here know us. We do not have any glossy brochures or sales pitches. If someone needs blocks, they just come down to Nakodar Road and see what we have in stock. We make the tiles and blocks right here, so we know exactly what is going out. Some days are long, especially when the weather is bad and we have to work around it. We do not have any fancy corporate statements. We just make the blocks and sell them to people who need them for building. It is a simple, honest business and we are glad to be part of the village community. We just keep making the blocks and taking things one day at a time. It is steady work.
