If you go to Pucca Bagh and look for Eq270, you'll find where Chawla Mohit Architect operates. It's a plain building, nothing that really stands out from the street. Inside, it's just a workspace filled with the usual stuff like rulers, pens, and stacks of paper. I’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. It’s not a big firm with a lot of departments. It is mostly just me and a small team handling the daily grind. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites, so the office is often empty for half the day. When we are there, we’re usually hunched over drawings. The lighting isn't the best, so we have a few extra lamps sitting around. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we don't mind much. We don't have a website that looks professional or a brochure to give out. People usually just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign at Eq270. We take on whatever work comes our way, whether it's a small room or something bigger. There's no grand philosophy behind what we do. We just try to draw things that can actually be built without falling down. It’s a practical job and we treat it that way. No fancy talk, just honest work done at a desk in Pucca Bagh while we drink our afternoon tea.
