Boparai Harinder Singh Architect

You can find us at Boparai Arch.& Engrs. 2, which is on the 1st Floor of Pearl Palace in Ghumar Mandi. The full name on the door is Boparai Harinder Singh Architect, but most people just call us Boparai. Our office is usually full of rolls of blueprints and sketches because that’s what we do all day. Ghumar Mandi is a lively area, so there is always a bit of a buzz coming up from the street. We’ve been doing architecture and engineering for quite a while now. It’s a lot of sitting at drawing boards and clicking away on computers. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we try to figure out how to build things correctly. Sometimes we have disagreements about a design, but we usually work it out over some tea. The light in the office is pretty good in the mornings, which helps when we’re looking at fine details. We don't really go for those trendy office designs ourselves; we just need a sturdy table and some peace and quiet to get the math right. If you come up to the first floor, you'll see our door right there. We aren't into big sales pitches. We just show people what we can do and let the drawings speak for themselves. It’s honest work and we do our best with every project that comes our way. The stairs are a bit narrow, so just take your time.
