We’re set up on the Hoshiarpur Road in Village Bolina Doaba. Embolden Solar is what we call ourselves. It’s a lot of work involving panels and batteries. Since we’re right on the road, we get a lot of dust from the passing tractors and cars. We spend most of our time talking to farmers and homeowners about how to get their lights running on the sun. It’s pretty hot work, especially when we’re out in the fields or on top of a roof. We aren't some massive corporation; it’s just a few of us trying to get these systems installed. The shop in Bolina Doaba is where we keep all the parts and the ladder. Sometimes we’re out all day and the shop stays locked. It’s a growing thing around here because the power can be a bit patchy. We don't have a big office with AC; we just have a desk and some samples. It’s a practical business. We’ve learned a lot about how the weather affects the gear. Mostly, we’re just regular folks who figured out how the wiring goes. Life on the Hoshiarpur Road is busy, but we find our rhythm. We do the work, pack the tools back in the van, and call it a day. It’s simple, really. No big promises, just fixing up the panels. The sun is our main focus. It’s a good way to earn a living in this part of the country.
