Bipasha Travels

Our office is tucked away at A-1 in Civil Lines. It’s a bit of a nicer area of Jalandhar, but still quite busy because of Dilkhusha Market. Being in the 144001 area, we get a mix of regulars and people just passing through the market. The shop itself is nothing fancy, just a place to sit and talk about travel plans. We have a couple of desks and some old maps on the wall that have started to curl at the edges. Most mornings start with dusting the front window because the city air is always a bit thick. We handle tickets and travel arrangements for anyone who walks in. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting for the computer to load the latest prices. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there. Civil Lines is a good place to be, even if parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but our work stays pretty much the same. It’s about getting people where they need to go. We keep a ledger for the accounts and use the phone a lot to confirm things. It is just a regular local business life. When it gets dark, we lock up the shutters and head home like everyone else in the market after a long day of work.
