Om Sai Plastic

Our shop, Om Sai Plastic, is tucked into the Gurunanak Complex over on Kapurthala Road. If you know Basti Bawa Khel, you know it can get pretty hectic with the traffic and everything moving all at once. We're at unit number 23. We’ve been at this location for some time, handling all sorts of plastic items that people need for their homes or shops. It's not the kind of place where everything is perfectly lined up on glass shelves. It's more of a working space where things are moving in and out all day long. We start early in the morning, getting things ready before the heat really kicks in or the road gets too blocked up. Dealing with plastic isn't glamorous work, but it's what we know. We talk to the truck drivers, the local shopkeepers, and anyone else who stops by looking for something specific. My brother and I usually run the show, and we don't have a big staff or anything. We just handle the orders as they come. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days we just sit and wait for the next delivery. That's just how it goes here. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just rely on being here when people need us. It’s a plain, honest living, and we’re glad to be part of the Basti Bawa Khel community. Usually, the Kapurthala Road traffic is the only thing that slows us down.
