We are right in the middle of it at 144001. The center has been operating for quite some time now. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the machines and people waiting their turn. We spend a lot of time sitting at the front desk or in the back rooms where the scanning happens. It’s a lot of technical work, but we try to keep it simple for the people who come in. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the chairs in the waiting room are well-worn from years of use. It’s just a local diagnostic place where people come when they need to get something checked out. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in Jalandhar. We keep a stack of old magazines for people to read while they wait. It’s a straightforward operation. We just focus on getting the scans done and making sure the paperwork is in order for everyone who walks through the front door during the day.
