I work out of the Phc in Jamsher. It is a bit outside the main Jalandhar city area, which I actually quite like. The pace is a little slower here, but we stay busy enough. I have been part of this community for a long time. People around here know me, and I know most of them too. My day usually starts with checking on whatever came in overnight. The clinic is not the biggest place, but it is an important spot for the folks living nearby. I do not believe in making things complicated. If someone has a question, I give them a straight answer. Sometimes the power goes out or the water acts up, but we just keep going. It is a practical kind of life. I spend a lot of time on my feet, moving from one task to another. The records are mostly kept in folders that have seen better days. I am not really into new technology if the old way still works fine. You will not find any big advertisements for what I do. Word of mouth is usually how people find their way here anyway. It feels good to be useful in a small town like Jamsher. I plan on staying here as long as I am able to help. It is just a regular job, but it matters to the people who walk through that door every single morning.
