Amydus India Foundation

Our foundation, Amydus India Foundation, is based out of Village Apra. Specifically, we are at Khata No 785/909, care of Laxmi. This is in Tehsil Phillaur. It’s a very local, rural kind of setting which is quite different from the big city offices. The Khata number is important because things are laid out a bit differently here in the village. If you’re coming to see us, you just ask for the place near Laxmi’s in Apra. Phillaur is the main area nearby, but our daily life happens right here in the village. It’s a quiet place for the Amydus India Foundation to operate. We don’t have a big sign on the road or anything. It’s just a modest building where we handle our business. The air is a bit clearer out here than in the bigger towns. We use the space we have to the best of our ability. It’s an honest, simple setup that fits the foundation well. Sometimes the cows walk by the front while we are working. It’s just how things are in Village Apra. We like the pace of things here. It allows us to focus on our tasks without too many distractions from the outside world. Phillaur is just a short trip away if we need anything from the bigger market. We keep things pretty simple at this address, just working from the village.
