Amit Industries is over in Rama Mandi. It’s a straightforward kind of place where we don't put on any acts. Our building is simple and has been around for a long time. We start the machines in the morning, and that hum stays with us until we turn them off at night. Rama Mandi is a good spot for us because it’s easy for people to find. We don't have a big team of managers; it’s mostly just the people who do the actual work. We have a small area in the back where we keep the raw materials and a bit of space in the front for the finished stuff. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it holds up okay. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just industry work, day in and day out. Sometimes the weather is nice, and we leave the big doors open to get a breeze. Other times it’s too hot, and we just keep the water cold. We have a ledger where we write down everything by hand. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We know our customers by their first names often, and they know us. There isn't any corporate polish here, just a group of people working hard in Rama Mandi to keep the business going. We stay busy and we stay humble because the work is what matters.
