We are located at House Number 51 in Kalia Farm, which is right near the Verka Milk Plant in Jalandhar City. If the wind is blowing the right way, you can definitely tell we are near the milk plant. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. The office is part of a larger property, so there is a bit of space for trucks to park without blocking the main road. We do a lot of overseas business from here, which sounds fancy, but it mostly involves sitting at old wooden desks and checking shipping lists over and over. Jalandhar is a busy place for trade, and being on this side of the city makes it easier for us to get things out to the highway. The office walls have some old calendars and photos of past shipments. We keep things pretty simple. There’s a kettle for making coffee and a big cabinet where we store all the ledgers. We don't use much fancy software; a lot of our notes are still kept in notebooks. It’s just a few of us working together, making sure the orders are correct before they head out. It’s a quiet life at Kalia Farm, but we stay busy enough with the constant flow of goods. We’ve been in Jalandhar a long time.
