Ajay Aggrwal

You can find me over at Kishan Pura Chowk in Jalandhar City. My place is right there near Railway Road, so it gets pretty noisy with the trains and all the traffic coming through the intersection. I’ve been here as Ajay Aggrwal for a long time, just running things from this spot. It’s a busy corner of the world, that’s for sure. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, and I’m always wiping down the desk. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a regular office where we handle whatever comes our way. I see all sorts of people walking by the window, everyone’s always in a rush to get somewhere. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or light a candle if it’s late. People know the landmark well, so I don’t have to give directions too often. Usually, I’m just busy with paperwork or chatting with someone who stopped in. It feels like the whole city passes by this chowk eventually. I like the energy of the place, even if it’s a bit much on Monday mornings. There isn't much to say about the "vibe" other than it's honest and local. I just try to be fair with everyone and keep the doors open on time. It’s a simple life here near the tracks, nothing fancy, just work. I've been doing this for years and I'll likely do it for a few more tomorrow.
