Our place is located right along Jajpur Road. It’s a busy stretch and there’s always something moving outside the gates. Maharaja Resources Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this landscape for a good while. We deal with various resources and materials that come through here. It is a dusty job, and the trucks keep the ground vibrating most of the day. We don't have a big fancy building, just a functional space where we can get the work done. The guys here are used to the heat and the long hours. We usually start quite early before the traffic on Jajpur Road gets too heavy. It makes it easier to get the lorries in and out. There isn't much to say about the office; it's mostly just for keeping the paperwork in order so we don't lose track of things. We see people from all over the region stopping by. Sometimes they just need directions, but usually, they are here for the materials. We try to keep things simple. No one here wears a suit. We are usually in work clothes and boots because the yard can get muddy. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been on this road so long that we know all the other business owners nearby. We just keep doing our thing and hope the weather stays decent for the outdoor work. It is a basic life but it is ours and we keep at it.
