Jay Jagannath Concrete Pavers & Tiles

We set our shop in Village Baroda, over in the Mahisagar area. It’s part of the Dahrmasala taluka. We make pavers and tiles for floors and walkways. The process is pretty simple, using molds and a lot of concrete. We have different patterns, some plain and some with a bit of design on them. Our yard is always covered in stacks of finished tiles waiting to be picked up. It's a family-run kind of thing, and we do most of the labor ourselves. The village is small, so we know most of our neighbors. They often come to us when they are fixing up their yards or building a new porch. It’s a messy business with all the water and cement mix flying around. We don't really bother with marketing because the quality of the tiles speaks for itself when people see them installed. Sometimes the colors come out slightly different between batches, but that’s the nature of handmade work. We use local materials as much as we can. The Mahisagar area has been growing, so there’s always a demand for good paving. We work six days a week, sometimes seven if there’s a big order. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy stacks. We aren't looking to become a giant company, just keep making good tiles for the people around here. It keeps us fed and busy throughout the year.
