C.A Tapas Ranjan Dash

I’ve been practicing as a C.A. here in Bhubaneshwar for quite a while now. My office is in the 755019 area. It’s a straightforward setup. I have my main desk, some chairs for clients, and shelves that are literally overflowing with tax files and audit reports. Tax season is always a bit of a marathon. I end up spending more time here than at home during those months. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a place where we sit down and crunch numbers. I have a couple of assistants who help me keep the records straight. We drink a lot of coffee and tea to stay sharp. People from all over the city come in with their plastic folders full of receipts and bank statements. I try to make sense of it all for them. It’s mostly just quiet work, broken up by the sound of calculators and the printer. I don't use any big marketing gimmicks. Word usually travels around through people I have helped before. Bhubaneshwar is growing, so there is always someone new starting a business or needing help with their filings. I like the local feel of it. It’s satisfying to finish a difficult file and clear some space on the desk. Most days I am here until late in the evening. It’s just the nature of the job. I keep things practical and don’t make things more complicated than they need to be.
