You can find us at Gurukripa in Nimpur, which is a part of Jagatpur. We are situated right near the Government School, so every afternoon we hear the kids shouting and playing when they get out of class. It’s a nice reminder of the community we’re in. Despite the long name, we’re a pretty straightforward operation. We spend our time processing spices and various food items. The Nimpur area is quite dusty, and our facility fits right in. We’ve got machines running most of the day, making a steady hum that you eventually stop noticing. It’s a family-run kind of thing, even if we have the "Pvt. Ltd." attached to the name. We care more about whether the bags are sealed right than about fancy titles. Sometimes we sit out front near the school road just to catch a breeze. The work is repetitive—cleaning, drying, grinding, and packing. There’s always a fine layer of spice dust on the windowsills. We don’t really have a sales team or anyone like that. Most people in Jagatpur just know where Gurukripa is if they need to find us. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like a permanent part of the landscape. It’s not glamorous, and the hours are long, but we’re proud of the fact that we’ve kept the machines running this long. We just hope to keep doing it for many more years without too much trouble.
