Allah-dad Tannery

Our place, Allah-dad Tannery, is located at 99/85-a on Jajmau Road. If you know this part of town, you know it’s where all the heavy work happens. The air always has that specific smell of leather and salt, and we are right in the thick of it. We’ve been working out of this building for years, and it’s definitely seen some wear and tear. The floors are stained and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but it’s a tannery, not a showroom. We spend our days handling hides and moving heavy loads around. It’s hard, physical work that leaves you tired by the end of the shift. Jajmau Road is always busy with trucks coming and going, and we are just one part of that noise. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, we are out on the floor or sitting at a wooden desk covered in papers. There’s no big corporate strategy here, just the daily grind of processing what comes in and getting it ready. We talk to the same people every week and follow the same steps we’ve used for a long time. It’s a simple business model without any frills. When things break, we fix them ourselves and keep moving. It’s just how things are done here on Jajmau Road. We don’t try to pretend we are something we aren’t, we just focus on the leather and the long days at the tannery.
