Vidyanjali

We are located out here on Sonapur Road, not too far from the Defence area in Chandipore. Vidyanjali is basically where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a place for learning, but it’s also just a big part of the local neighborhood. We see the same faces every morning when the sun comes up and the kids start arriving. It gets a bit noisy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’ve got a building full of people. We’ve been at this for a while now, trying to help out where we can. The walk down to the school from the main road is pretty familiar to everyone around here. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or anything like that, but we have what we need to keep things moving. Sometimes the rainy season makes the commute a bit messy, but we still show up. It’s important to have a place like this in Chandipur. We aren't trying to be some big, famous institution. We're just locals who care about what happens in our own backyard. Sometimes the parents stop by to chat about how things are going. We listen and we do our best. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a few rooms and a lot of hard work. We stay busy with the books and the lessons, and we hope it makes a difference to the families living nearby.
