Utkal Contech is over on Plot No-710/1249 in Natapada. It's right by Jajpur Road. If you live around Jajpur, you probably know how much construction is happening lately. We are part of that. It’s a local operation, nothing too fancy. We have our office in a simple building and most of our time is spent out on the actual job sites rather than sitting behind a desk. Dealing with Jajpur roads and the weather can be a challenge, but we’re used to it. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just go by our name. A lot of the work we do is technical, involving concrete and steel and all that. It’s heavy work. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. We’re more like a family than a company. We eat lunch together and complain about the rain when it stops the work. It’s a straightforward life. We don't make big claims about being the best. We just try to do a solid job so the customer doesn't have to call us back to fix things. Being in Natapada is good because we are close to the main roads. It makes getting materials easier, most of the time anyway. We’re just local people building things in our own town and trying to do it well.
