At Thriveni Earth Movers Pvt. Ltd, we are over in the Haripur area, right near Sukinda in Jajpur. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks and heavy equipment moving around all the time. Most of us here are used to the red dust that seems to get on everything, even inside the office cabinets. It is a practical sort of place where things are always happening. The heat in this part of Orissa can get quite intense during the summer months, so we usually try to get the heavy lifting done early in the day. Our staff is mostly people from the nearby villages who know the terrain well. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks for the machinery. If you come by the Haripur site, you’ll probably see a few of the mechanics working on a backhoe or a dumper near the gate. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or keep working by the light of the sun. It’s honest work, mostly just digging and moving earth to where it needs to go. We keep a cooler of water by the door because you really need it out here. The roads get a bit bumpy after the monsoon, but the trucks still find their way through. It is just the way we do things here day in and day out without much fuss. We focus on the machines and the ground, and that keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
