At Siddharta Engineering Ltd, we operate out of Qr No-Jb/163 in Madhuban, Paradip. If you know Jagatsinghpur, you know how the weather gets out here near the coast. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where we keep our files and some of the smaller equipment. It is located right in the middle of the residential quarters, so it feels more like a home than a big corporate building. Most of our day is spent out on different sites or checking over technical drawings on the old wooden tables we have inside. There is a lot of red dust that comes in from the road, so we are always wiping down the desks. In Orissa, things can move a bit slower sometimes, and we just go along with that rhythm. We have a couple of computers that hum all day and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise on the higher settings. The neighbors know us by name since we have been at this address for quite a bit. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby, just a door that stays open for anyone coming in with questions about a project. Usually, there are a few boots lined up by the entrance and some helmets hanging on the hooks in the back room.
