Sai Poly Clinic

The clinic is over in Chandappa. If you live around here, you probably know the street well. It’s mostly just us and the other small shops nearby. We open up in the morning and stay until the last person leaves. It’s not a big operation at all. We have the usual stuff you’d expect to find in a poly clinic. Tables, chairs, and some medical posters on the walls that have been there for years. The floor gets a bit dusty with people coming in and out all day, especially when the weather is dry outside. We try to sweep it when there’s a quiet moment between patients, but sometimes we don't get to it until the evening. Most days are pretty similar. We see a lot of kids coming in with their parents, older folks checking their blood pressure, and the occasional person who just needs some advice. It feels like a small community inside these walls sometimes. We know most of the faces that come through the front door. It isn’t always quiet; you can hear the street noise pretty clearly if the door is left open for air. We don’t have any fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a practical space for practical things. There is a clock on the wall that ticks a little too loud when the room is empty, but usually, there's enough talking going on that you don't even notice it. Just a simple place for everyone.
