Reliance Logistics

Our base for Reliance Logistics is in Mirijapur, which is under the Chitalo post office in Jajpur district. Being out here in Orissa is a bit different from the big city offices. It is a bit quieter, but the work is still the same. We deal with trucks and goods every single day. The office is a basic building where we keep our records and meet with the local drivers. Jajpur has a lot of movement because of the industries around, so we stay pretty occupied. We don't have any high-tech systems, just a lot of hard work and keeping track of things on paper. Sometimes the rain in Orissa makes the roads a bit difficult, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the schedules. The local people around Mirijapur know us as the place where the trucks stop. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the beginning. We mostly just sit and talk about the best routes or how much fuel is costing these days.
