R K Engineering & Trading is based in Paradeep Town, which is in the Jagatsinghpur district. Being located near the coast and the port means we are always dealing with the local weather, which can be pretty humid most of the year. Our office and workspace aren't anything fancy to look at. We mostly deal with engineering supplies and various trading goods that people in this area need. It is a small operation, and we don't have hundreds of people working for us. It is just a few of us who know the trade and know the local people. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out meeting people to see what they require for their projects. Paradeep is a busy place because of the industrial activity, but it still has that small-town feel where everyone knows each other. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We just try to get the right parts and materials to the people who need them. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or shipping issues, and we just have to be honest with people about it. That is how we have always done things. It is a straightforward business, and we are happy to be working here in Jagatsinghpur, doing our part to keep things moving. We value the relationships we have built over the years.
