Omm Traders

Our shop is located in the Natwar Das Complex, which is a well-known landmark here in Taladanda Village. Being in Kujang Tehsil, we get people coming in from all over Jagatsinghapur District. Omm Traders is not a massive operation. We mostly handle building supplies and whatever else folks around here need for their small construction projects. The complex gets quite busy on market days, and parking can be a bit of a headache for the trucks, but we manage to get by. Inside, it is mostly metal shelves and heavy crates. I have lived around here my whole life, so I know most of the people who come in to buy things. We spend a lot of time discussing local projects and who is building what down the road. It is a lot of manual labor, unloading deliveries and moving heavy bags around the floor. My clothes are usually covered in some kind of grit by noon. We do not bother with fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they were already visiting the complex for something else. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a ledger and a calculator that has seen better days. We stay open until the sun goes down, sometimes a bit later if a neighbor needs something urgently for a repair. It is honest work, and it keeps us connected to the village. The rain can be a problem, but we cope.
