Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited(Public Sector Undertaking)

This is the office of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited, which is a Public Sector Undertaking, located in the Ninl Township at Duburi. Specifically, this is where the electrical department operates, with the office in Block E-203. Jajpur in Orissa is really the heart of where a lot of the heavy lifting happens for us. Being a PSU, there is a certain way things are done here, and life in the township is very much centered around the plant. You can see the chimneys and the structures from almost anywhere nearby. The work here is very technical, focusing on the electrical side of the operations. It’s a large industrial site, so there is always maintenance or some kind of repair going on to keep things running. The township is a bit isolated from the bigger cities, but it has everything we need for the people who live and work here. The weather gets very hot in the summer, which makes the outdoor work quite challenging for the crews. We don't really have a need for fancy office talk or marketing. We just focus on the power systems and making sure the factory doesn’t have any downtime. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it is just part of the daily routine for the engineers and staff stationed here in Duburi. We’ve been here for many years and the community is very tight-knit because of the work we all share.
